Scoring runs in overseas grounds is one of the toughest jobs in Cricket. In this Blog, we celebrate those great players who have done it quite comfortably. It includes some great players, some dark horses & the god of cricket obviously. So without further delay, let's start the countdown:

10. Brian Lara (1990-2017)

The former West Indies captain & only player to score 400 runs in an inning is at number 10 in the list. Along with Scoring 12917 runs at an average of 42.49 in 325 innings, he has also scored 30 centuries out of the Caribbean country. 9. Sanath Jayasuriya (1989-2011)

One of the best all-rounders the world has ever seen, Jayasuriya had broken many records and set new ones owing to his explosive batting style. Playing for the Sri Lankan national team & Asia XI, he has scored 12974 runs at an average of 32.19 in 421 innings, he has also scored 26 centuries out of the South Asian island country.

8. Jacques Kallis (1996-2014)

Another all-rounder & Only South African player in the list, Jacques Kallis is at number 8 in the list. He has scored 13229 runs at an average of 47.07 in 335 innings with the help of 33 centuries overseas.

7. Younis Khan (2000-2017)

The first Pakistani to score 10,000+ runs in test cricket run machine Younis Khan is at number 7 in the list. He has scored 14049 runs at an average of 38.38 in 405 innings with the help of 33 centuries overseas.

6. Inzamam-ul-Haq (1992-2007)

Former Pakistan captain, also known as Inzi, made it to the number 6 in the list. He has scored 14197 runs at an average of 39.54 in 408 innings with the help of 20 centuries overseas.

5. Mahela Jayawardene (1998-2015)

The first Sri Lankan to score a T20I century, Jayawardene had broken many records of partnerships including the highest partnership for any wicket in cricket. Playing overseas, he has scored 14278 runs at an average of 34.82 in 444 innings with the help of 27 centuries.

4. Ricky Ponting (1995-2012)

The great Australian captain & First batsman to score centuries in ODI cricket against all Test-playing nations, Ricky Ponting is at number 4 in the list. Playing overseas, he has scored 14366 runs at an average of 44.47 in 360 innings with the help of 35 centuries.

3. Rahul Dravid (1996-2012)

Renowned BBC journalist Christopher Martin-Jenkins once noted

"If a Martian were to land on Earth now and be told that the best batsman in the world was playing in this match, he would think it was Rahul Dravid and not Sachin Tendulkar."

The great Indian Wall, Rahul Dravid has scored 15024 runs at an average of 44.06 in 394 innings with the help of 27 centuries playing overseas.

2. Kumar Sangakara (2000-2015)

The first non-British MCC President, Sri Lankan Southpaw, Sangakara guided Sri Lanka to the finals of 2011 ODI WorldCup. He has scored 15973 runs at an average of 44.86 in 396 innings with the help of 37 centuries playing overseas.

1. Sachin Tendulkar (1989-2012)

Number 1 in the list is none other than the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar. Records set by Tendulkar in cricket are uncountable.
He
 was conferred with the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award in 2014.
Playing overseas, he has scored 20165 runs at an average of 47.33 in 469 innings with the help of 58 centuries.
